People who play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC can probably enjoy an amazing adventure right now. Console players, on the other hand, report issues regarding barely readable info texts. I, for myself, experienced the same problem, considerably hampering my whole experience. Despite playing on a 55″ screen and healthy eye sight, I had to move my TV to the foot end of my couch to fully dive into the world of the otherwise fascinating game. Apparently, CD Projekt Red has not learned from the same mistake they made with The Witcher 2 on Xbox 360. Back then, they eventually patched the game to allow players to manually adjust the info text and not just the HUD.
However, if you’re playing on PlayStation 4, there’s an easy workaround that will help you until a patch gets released. In the system settings, you can activate the Zoom function, which allows you to seamlessly zoom into the frame by pressing the combination of Square and the PlayStation button. This is certainly not a long-term solution, but it allows your eyes to stay healthy until the next update. And now, get back to your game, Shinigamers!
